I have a BFA in Theatre Design and Production from Virginia Commonwealth University. I am now working in the field as a facility rentals coordinator and assistant production manager. I first became a tutor because I love to learn and help others. While I was in school, I helped fellow students with their history and math subjects through my school's learning program. I helped many students with one of the lowest level math courses. Many of those students who took this class disliked the topic greatly only because of their own struggles to learn the material. I helped these students related the subject matter to life. I have worked with many students in different age groups and abilities. This includes ESL students, those with learning disabilities, and even adult learners. I am able to stay positive and patient when working with my students. This makes me a successful tutor. I can help you with any subject level and can also help you better prepare for a big exam or to improve upon your study techniques. When I'm not tutoring or working, I like to spend time listening to live music, watching plays, and spending time with my puppy. I'm ready to help you learn more!
